Data Security
Protecting Your Coordinates
Galavory operates with maximum data security protocols. Our station requires no crew manifests, no registration, and collects virtually no personal telemetry. This document outlines our minimal data handling procedures.
Data Footprint
The only information Galavory maintains exists solely within your own navigation computer:
- Age Verification Signal: A marker confirming you've verified being 18+ so the check isn't repeated on re-entry.
- Preference Settings: Configuration data like audio preferences that persist across voyages.
This data never transmits to distant servers—it remains entirely within your local storage banks.
Local Storage Systems
We utilize browser localStorage for preference persistence. This technology keeps data on your device only, not on station servers. You maintain complete control and can purge this data through browser settings.
External Transmissions
Galavory connects to Google Fonts for typography resources. This is our only external data link. We have not integrated advertising beacons, analytics trackers, or surveillance systems.
Security Posture
Our minimal data architecture means minimal attack surface. Since we don't maintain crew databases, data breaches targeting personal information aren't applicable to our station.
Minor Protection Protocols
Galavory restricts access to travelers 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Our age gate serves as the primary filter at the station entrance.
Crew Data Rights
You maintain complete authority over Galavory-related data:
- Clear browser localStorage to purge all stored preferences
- Use incognito mode for anonymous voyages
- Configure browser to reject all storage mechanisms
Document Updates
This Data Security document may be updated as our station evolves. Check back periodically to review current practices.
